Thinking of upgrading your hardware?

Processors
Processors can often be replaced but the new processor must be compatible your motherboard, your power supply and other factors such as cooling must also be considered.

New graphics cards are a must for the keen computer gamer. If you are upgrading your Windows XP computer to run Vista, you may need to upgrade your graphics card to get the best from the new operating system.
Memory
Additional memory generally puts a spring in any creaking computer's step. But what specification do you need and how much should you add without entering the realms of overkill?
Disks
And if you're thinking of upgrading your disk, how much space are you likely to need in the future? Also, how do you plan to get your existing programs, data and setup transferred over to the new disk.
